A few questions have come up regarding online payment processing for events and membership renewals through the TNSSA website. If you have had any issues with credit card processing, hopefully this will help you!
As you know, all of our payments are currently processed through PayPal. These payments can be made using your PayPal account or with any major credit card. If you do not have a PayPal account, payments can be made using a credit card by choosing the guest payment option.
However, once you have made multiple payments over a course of time as a guest, you will be prompted to setup a PayPal account in order to continue your payment process.
Setting up a PayPal account is really nothing more than registering your contact information with PayPal. Once you have registered, you will then still be able to make payments using your credit card.
It has been explained to me by PayPal that this registration process helps them to better maintain their security processes.
